Eugene Zimmer, 84, of Mt. Prospect, passed away February 21, 2018. Beloved husband of Waltraut “Violet” Zimmer for 64 years. Loving father of Brigitte Moone, and Dieter (Karen) Zimmer. Cherished grandfather of Brian (Katy) Moone, Timothy (Tadra) Moone, Olivia Zimmer, and Andrew Zimmer, great grandfather of Kennedy, Finley, Brinkley, Raja, London, and Ryland. Dear brother of Bruno Zimmer and Alice (John) Roos, and the late Arnold (Irma) Zimmer. Fond uncle of many.
Visitation Sunday, Februay 25th, 3:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd. (at Northwest Highway) Mt. Prospect.
Visitation Monday, February 26th, 9:00 A.M. until Funeral 10:00 A.M. at St. John Lutheran Church, 1100 S. Linneman Rd., Mt. Prospect.
Interment Ridgewood Memorial Park.
